Balance Chiropractic Culture
Our Vision
"Empowering People To Achieve Health"
Our Mission
"To be your partner from pain to wellness"
Our Story
Balance Chiropractic was established in Ampang, Selangor with a straightforward aim: to bring chiropractic care rooted in the Gonstead system to the local community, delivered with warmth rather than a purely clinical bedside manner.
What started as a small facility has grown alongside the neighbourhood it serves, shaped along the way by the people who walk through our doors and by our own ongoing continuing education. We remain a facility registered under the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Act 2016, and we treat that registration not as a formality but as an ongoing commitment to practising within a recognised, regulated framework.
Practice Philosophy
From the start, we set out to offer a different kind of healthcare experience — one that values human connection as much as clinical process. We see ourselves as partners in your health, not just a facility you visit when something hurts.
Get to know us and you'll find we aim to be more than just a business. That shows in how we approach chiropractic care, and in how we engage with our patients and the wider community.
Care begins the moment you think of us, and continues on when you walk through our doors.
Every visit begins with time spent understanding your posture, daily habits, and history before any hands-on work takes place. We believe informed patients make better decisions about their own health, so throughout your visits we explain what we're assessing and why, in plain language rather than technical jargon. Individual circumstances vary widely, and so does each person's experience with care — there is no single outcome we can promise, only a consistent process of assessment, communication, and follow-up.
Our Approach to Care
Our approach is built on the Gonstead system, a method of spinal analysis developed in the United States and used by chiropractors worldwide. In practice, this means each visit involves a structured assessment — reviewing posture, movement, and the alignment of the spine — before any adjustment technique is considered.
We take time to explain what the assessment finds and to discuss options together, rather than moving straight into a fixed protocol. You can read more about how this system works on our Gonstead Technique page, or start with our overview of what chiropractic care involves if you're new to the subject.

T&CM Council Registration: PPPB2026/14764, practising under the Traditional & Complementary Medicine Act 2016 (Act 775)
His approach centres on the Gonstead method — the same five-step analysis process described above — paired with a commitment to explaining findings in plain language rather than technical jargon. Outside of one-on-one visits, he contributes to our growing library of educational content on the Learning Centre, covering topics from posture to spinal health.
You can verify this registration directly with the T&CM Council at any time via our Verify Credentials page — we'd rather you check for yourself than take our word for it.
Our 7 Core Values
In 2021, the Core Values for Balance Chiropractic were adopted to ensure that we remain balanced in our focus as a team. The 7 Core Values help to provide a clear and meaningful direction on how we are going to fulfil our mission.
Our Facility
We're located at Dataran Palma in Ampang, Selangor — a ground-floor unit that's easy to find, with parking available directly outside. The space is designed to feel calm rather than sterile: natural light, simple furnishings, and enough room that visits don't feel rushed or crowded.
If it's your first time finding us, our First Visit Guide covers what to expect, from parking to what to bring.
Live Free, Pain Free
Persistent discomfort can affect far more than just the body — it can affect work, sleep, and time with family. That's part of why we focus on your overall wellbeing rather than an isolated symptom, and why we encourage you to take an active role in understanding your own health.
Community & Education
Beyond in-person visits, we maintain a growing library of educational articles covering topics like posture, back and neck discomfort, and how chiropractic care compares to other approaches such as physiotherapy. These are written for anyone doing their own research, whether or not they ever become a patient here — you're welcome to browse our full Learning Centre at any time.
We also maintain a dedicated Regulation section explaining how T&CM practitioners are registered and regulated in Malaysia, since we believe transparency about our own credentials is part of practising responsibly.
